Sorry its been a few days since I last blogged, I don’t know where this last week went. Since staying home I have been determined to become a better cook and try lots of new dishes. When my husband and I first met he will tell you I could barely boil water. Granted I got better and had a few dishes, but with working and getting home late I went for the safeties most nights. I would throw a frozen pizza in, or spaghetti, or whatever was quick an easy. Now getting older and having a few health issues of my own, I really wanted to make better meals. Being home I have done a better job of planning out meals for the week and trying lots of new recipes. Although with the holidays I got in a bit of a funk cooking. So the past couple weeks I have gotten back on the horse, and I wanted share some of these great recipes found. A lot have become new family favorites and we will definitely be making them again. Granted I am not talented enough to come up with these but I have attached the recipes and the persons website I got them from. Most are very quick and simply, I like simple.
I challenge you to try at least three new recipes this week.
1.Slow Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chicken Taquitos (Holy Amazing you must try)
2.Sun Dried Tomato Chicken in Cream Sauce
3.Slow Cooker Cashew Chicken
4.Chicken Lettuce Wraps
5.Slow cooker Buffalo Chicken Meatballs
6.Crock Pot Jalapeno Chicken Sweet Corn Soup (This is the husband’s favorite)
7. Chicken and Asparagus Stir Fry
8.Italian Chicken and Vegetables
Most of these are fairly healthy and low calorie, because I am trying to cut calories, but they are all full of flavor. I’m sure you can see a theme, I seem to try a lot of recipes from this blog damndelicious.net, she always posts great recipes and you can find them on Pinterest. Hopefully you take this on and try some new recipes. I would love to hear how many you tried and what ones you liked. Happy cooking!
