Princess Party Ideas

As you know Princess Parties are probably one of the most popular parties for a girl no matter the age. I have always been a huge fan of Sleeping Beauty, but when I was little they had very little Disney Princess things like they do now. So I decided if we were going to have a party for my 30th birthday then I wanted a Disney Princess themed birthday. You’re never too old to be a Princess and show your Disney side, and if you think you are well I’m sorry you need to have a little more fun in life.

When it comes to party planning, I am the big planner in the family but my family didn’t want me do everything because it was my birthday. Which I didn’t mind because I am home and they all work plus I love parties! So I conceded and let them do most of it but gave them my concept ideas and they put everything together and it turned out too cute. I should correct my previous statement, I do have a cousin who is also very crafty and she helped out with a lot of the cute decorations for the party.

We have a lot of kids in our family right now, so I wanted the little ones to have fun also. We invited everyone to come in their Disney best, if you just had a shirt that’s good, if you’re like most little girls you have a Disney princess dress or five laying around. It was so cute seeing all the little girls dressed up.

I wanted a photo area so we created this area for very cheap. My husband cut out this crown using MDF board we got from Home Depot for around $6. I spray painted it with gold glitter spray paint, then cut a small oval out and sprayed it with pink glitter spray paint. We then used table clothes from the dollar store for the curtains. This was cheaper than purchasing real cloth. I also bought cute wood photo booth props from Michaels and painted them gold.

My family put together this cute decorative table with items from the dollar store and my cousin made the cute birthday banner using her silhouette cameo. I made the subway art using my silhouette cameo, everything in the subway art is a song from a Disney Princess. If you would like the subway art send me a message and I would be happy to send you the file to download. You can also see my post from February 25th on how to make the princess silhouettes. As you can see they put a few simple things together and it turned out amazing. You don’t have to spend a ton to have a cute princess party.
