As most kids I loved a good ol’ grilled cheese sandwich, put some cheese on two pieces and white bread throw it on a hot pan with some butter and you have heaven. As I have gotten older I have tried many different takes on the classic, some good some bad but this latest creation is the key!
What is it you ask? Drum roll please!!!!
Chef Shamy Gourment Garlic Butter
I take this amazing butter and put it on the outside of each piece of bread, I usually like a niece sourdough bread. Throw in the type of cheese you like, I like to mix it up but I usually do 1 slice of Cheddar, 1 slice of smoked gouda, and 1 slice muenster. One you have the butter on each side of the bread (butter on the side that goes on the griddle) and the cheese you want place it on a griddle and heat each side until toasted and cheese is melted.
You have to try this and I would be shocked if anyone did not like, my family will never be able to have a regular grilled cheese sandwich again.
Now you are probably wondering were to find this amazing butter. I find it at Costco, in the refrigerated area it comes in a two pack. Which believe me you will go through. I have found many uses for this, like putting on our steaks just when they are done grilling, or melting it over vegetables. Now after talking about this I think we will be having grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner tonight, yum!
