I know what you are probably thinking, ewe clams. I do not like clams, but this dip is a family favorite that my Grandma makes for parties and everyone loves it. It’s always gone very fast so you have to make sure you get to the dip before anyone else does, or hover over it so you can guard it.
What you need:
8oz cream cheese
2-3 tablespoons of Mayonnaise ( I prefer Best Foods Mayo)
1 Bunch of Green Onions
1/2 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
Dash of Worchester Sauce
Dash of Lemon Juice
1 can of Mined Clams
Dash of Salt and Pepper to taste
How to make:
Add three tablespoons of clam juice from the canned clams then drain the rest.
Finely chop green onions
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and chill in refrigerator for one hour prior to serving.
I usually serve the dip with plain potato chips and Frito Lay Chips. If you are having a large group I recommend doubling the batch as it does not make a lot.
