Hot Spinach & Artichoke Dip

I love a good spinach dip recipe, I am slightly obsessed every time we go out to eat. If the restaurant serves a spinach dip I wanna try it. I’ve had this recipe for many years and honestly can’t even remember were it came from, but its definitely one of the better ones I have come across and I love to make it.

What you need:

8 oz. pkg cream cheese

1 14oz can Artichoke Hearts

1/2 Cup Spinach ( I used frozen chopped spinach)

1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese

1/4 Cup Romano

1 clove of garlic

1 tablespoon dried basil

1/4 cup mayo

a pinch of salt

Have the cream cheese at room temperature. Mix together the mayo, parmesan, garlic,  & salt. Mix well. Next add artichokes and spinach until blended. Pour into an oven safe dish then spread the cream cheese over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

This does not make a large batch so if you have a large group you may want to double it. I usually serve it with tortilla chips and baguette slices. I apologize for not having more yummy pictures to entice you but as you know I am on a strict diet and could not make this. I am torturing myself by even talking about it, my mouth is watering. Grr, stupid diet.

  1. This looks gorgeous. I’ve never cooked with artichoke, I never know what to do with it! Love this idea! Thanks so much for linking up with #foodpornthursdays x
